Well. i were't feeling too good today to be at work the whole day, so i decided to go home few hours earlier.
When i was walking home, i saw how harsh life can sometimes be.
First thing before the real thing i was gonna tell you.. I had just left the place i was working in today, when noticed huge puddle of water on my right side, and i could see some kind of movement in it. I went closer, because i got curious. Had to go closer to get a better look.
It was owlet moth, nearly drownin. It was flapping it wings in panic.
I felt sorry for it, and so... I went to get long branch or something, with what i could save it. I find long road mark, and took it, then went back to that puddle and used that to lift up that little moth. Then i took it on my hand and tried to blow some warm air for it because it was shivering and all wet. After a while, it stopped shivering and started to "preen" itself. I was walking back home on the same time, letting that owlet moth stay in warm sunlight and kept it safe from cold breezes.
After few whiles, when the moth were all dry and seemed to be sleeping on my hand, (wings lowered down and it's feelers were pressed against it's body), i decided to find nice tree for it to go and live it's life.
I saw one tree which was close to that moths color and get closer to it. Put my hand close to that tree and letted that moth walk on it..
BUT... It backed up from the tree, back on my hand and tried to go in my sleeve. XD
I offered the way for that tree more than 5 times, before it finally wanted to climb on it instead of my hand.
I walked off happily knowing that i saved it from freezing death.
Well.. then i continue walking home and got a phone call from my big sister.
Suddenly i noticed quite a flock of magpies, cawing and croaking, sitting on the lamp-posts. When getting closer, I saw few peoples looking at something. I looked on the same direction and saw Sparrowhawk beating up a Magpie.
It was already too late to even try to go in middle, even i wanted, because that hawk already had wounded that magpie deadly. Well.. those few peoples happened to be mens, and they just laughed and enjoyed the show. After 2 mins, that magpie stopped twitching...
Sparrowhawk started to eat it... Then some of their friends came with a motorbike and scared the hawk away.
It took that Magpie with it and since it was heavy, it flew very low.
I watched it flying. It flew across the street, got hit by a car and died. =/
